Chess inside Yerevan's schools and university 6

Chess is a lesson in Armenian schools, but a lesson is not a place to visit, so this list holds only the general schools that leave a trace of their own: a tournament organised or hosted in their building and published on the tournament server. A university team stands beside them. These are schools and student teams rather than halls open to the public, and the sources rarely say who else may enter their tournaments.

Basic School No. 89 on Sebastia Street has its own cup and qualification tournaments, and the Global Bridge educational complex on Lusavorich Street holds category tournaments with the Yerevan Chess Federation. The MAV educational complex runs a lightning-chess cup, the Gazprom Armenia educational and sports complex organises qualification tournaments, and School No. 11 named after M. Melkonyan has hosted blitz and rapid events. The Yerevan State University chess team took third place at the inter-university student games in March 2024; no later trace of it was found. The addresses are printed as the sources give them, some in Armenian.
